Hey Xon,

I was searching for an article on your old website and found this. Glad to see you are pastoring a church. Hope things are going well!

Jeff

(P.S. I occasionally mess up 2+2 = 4, but I get to teach calculus anyways. It's rumored that arithmetic skills are inversely related to higher math skills. :) )

Er...who can even keep track any more (as far as taxes go)? It was 1.99, I'm pretty sure. Wally World, you know.

I am happy for you that you are happily relieved of ever having to do football games again. I cannot imagine how difficult of a job it is.

Andy,

No worries, there's not much of a "loop" for anyone to be "in" anyway.

It's complicated (not really). A lot has come together rather quickly (in the grand scheme of things), and we have not officially been constituted yet as a particular congregation. But we are under oversight/sponsorship to do just that, and so in the meantime we are doing the best we can. :-)

And, yes, our hope is to enter the CREC.

I may still be under care in the Northeast Georgia presbytery, though it's been just over a year now since I moved to Kentucky and everyone knows I'm gone. Given the odd nature of our current situation, my membership is still with the PCA church back in Georgia... It's something I haven't really thought about until you brought it up, actually.

Hi Xon,

Wow, I must have been really out of the loop. When last I heard weren't you a candidate under care in the PCA? So when did you get ordained and what denom is BREC with? I'm guessing CREC but didn't spot it in the list of churches.

I am so very glad that I don't have to work that football game, or any other football game, any more. You may like it from home, or tailgating somewhere, but working the stands or the intersections in the mode of cleaning up during it or afterwards... It's taxing to the soul.

Speaking of taxes, how much did you pay for that milk?
